Riva is an Italian motorboat manufacturer. Riva boats are considered high-quality and, from the 1950s onward, became a symbol of refined luxury and exuberant joie de vivre. They are therefore also referred to as the Rolls-Royce of the sea.
The outer hull of the Rivarama consists mainly of fiberglass, although this model also does not entirely dispense with traditional mahogany planking.
The Rivarama has rightly earned the nickname “the floating suite” and also features an electronically controlled two-speed gearbox for quick acceleration and economical cruising.

This model was built 100% by hand and with precision using traditional frame construction with hull planking.
Exotic fine woods such as teak, mahogany, rosewood or mango are used, among others, resulting in a valuable and decorative premium model.
After completion, the hull is carefully sanded and, where intended, painted. The model is then coated with a protective clear varnish.
Ornaments and decorative details (e.g. cannons, portholes, anchors, dials and wheels …) are made of brass, chrome or other high-quality metals.
The sails are made of fabric or silk, the masts are made of wood, and the rigging is made of solid cotton threads. Some of these ropes have special knots that allow the ropes to be retensioned at any time.
