The Amerigo Vespucci (A 5312) is the best-known sail training ship of the Italian Navy. It was named after the explorer Amerigo Vespucci. It was launched on February 22, 1931 and entered service in July of the same year. With the exception of the Second World War, it has been in continuous service.

Ornaments and decorative details (e.g. cannons, portholes, anchors, dials and wheels …) are made of brass, chrome and other high-quality metals.
