Originally there were about 300 of these boats, which carried wealthy businesspeople from their homes on Long Island to Manhattan. Today only about 4 are said to remain. The home port of the Dolphin, built in 1929, is currently Quebec in Canada.

This model was made 100% by hand with great precision.
Exotic fine woods such as teak, mahogany, rosewood or mango are used, resulting in a valuable and decorative premium model. After completion, the hull is carefully sanded and varnished. Finally, the model is coated with a protective clear varnish.
Ornaments and decorative details (e.g. cannons, portholes, anchors, dials and wheels …) are made of brass, chrome and other high-quality metals.
