HMS Bounty was a three-masted sailing ship of the British Admiralty and was launched in 1784.

In 1787, the Bounty set out under the command of Lieutenant William Bligh on a voyage to the South Seas to bring breadfruit tree cuttings from Tahiti to the Antilles. On the return voyage, the famous Mutiny on the Bounty occurred, which has since repeatedly become the subject of novels, films, plays and non-fiction books.
