You don’t need to worry that your model won’t survive shipping

We can assure you that all our model ships are packed very well and securely. You don’t need to worry about shipping.

Large model ships are usually packed in a wooden frame to protect the model from impacts. In addition, several polystyrene panels cut to fit the model are packed in for protection.

    1. Once your model has arrived, please take it out of the box and lay it on its side.
    2. Check whether there are screws underneath the model ship. If so, loosen them now.
    3. Stand the model upright again.
    4. Use a flat-head screwdriver that is sturdy and does not bend easily. Now open the top wooden boards.
      CAUTION: Watch out for splinters and nails.
    5. Now remove the planks on the sides.
    6. You should now be able to push apart the remaining planks and take the model ship out of the packaging.
