    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a custom model cost?

The price depends on the type of ship, the size of the model and the quantity. For small and large series, considerably lower unit prices are possible than for a one-off. Simply send us a few pictures of the ship along with the desired length and quantity – we will gladly prepare an individual, no-obligation quote.

    What documents are needed?

We can work with photos, plans, drawings as well as 3D or CAD files. As a minimum, we need photos of the desired ship.

How long is the delivery time?

The delivery time depends on the complexity of the model, the quantity and the workload of our workshop. As a rule, we deliver within 2–3 months. We will be happy to tell you the exact delivery time with our quote.

    Can I follow the production?

Yes. Throughout production you receive weekly photos of the current status, so you are involved in every phase. You can also let us know about changes or additions during production.

    Which materials are used?

We build all the hulls of our model ships from wood using plank-on-frame construction. Depending on the type of ship, materials such as brass, copper, stainless steel, leather and fabric are also used.
